Rumours suggest the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) is considering a swoop for the former Liverpool winger, who has endured a difficult start to life in Germany, amid their growing influence on Saudi Arabian football.
The 31-year-old's future at Bayern has been uncertain since his controversial punch on teammate Leroy Sane in April, for which he was later punished, following his team's 3-0 defeat to Manchester City in a UEFA Champions League encounter.
According to Get French Football News, the PIF has identified Al Ettifaq, the club hoping to appoint Steven Gerrard as their new manager, as a potential destination for the Senegal international, but would allow him to pick whichever side he chooses if he was open to a switch to the Saudi Pro League.
However, Mane would likely need a lot of convincing after reports in Germany claimed the ex-Premier League star is determined to succeed in the Bundesliga despite an underwhelming first season.
He scored just 12 goals in 38 games across all competitions in his debut campaign with the Bavarians, of which only seven were scored in the league.

A spell on the sidelines due to an injury that kept him out of the 2022 FIFA World Cup did seem to disrupt his progress at Bayern, though, while he contributed to just three strikes in 11 Bundesliga games upon his return.
