Even though the club is expected to show faith in defender Sifiso Hlanti, Kaizer Chiefs are believed to be looking at bringing in another left back in the team for next season.
A Siya source at the club and another source in Tanzania told the Siya crew that Amakhosi are most probably interested in bringing in Simba SC left back Mohamed Hussein.

The sources stated that Chiefs are likely to have already sent their representatives to Tanzania to monitor the 26-year-old national team defender.
"It's not a secret that Chiefs are interested in Mohamed (Hussein). They have made it clear that they want to bring him in this off season so that he can be there during the pre-season training," the Siya source stated.
"I think they are just waiting for the Tanzanian league to end then take it from there. But, yes, from what I know and what the team knows, Chiefs really want him," the source said.
Another source added that with the experience that Hussein has, Chiefs probably don't want to lose the opportunity to sign him as long as they can agree on terms with Simba.
"He is one of the best left backs for the region (in Africa). He is good in both defending and attacking. He is very consistent for five consecutive seasons now, playing well in domestic and international matches (CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup).
"He is the best in the (Tanzania) national team. With two league matches remaining to finish league, he is one of of five contestants for Best defender of the Season.
"Chiefs have looked at all that and they are convinced he is the one they want," the source observed.
When called for comment, Simba SC CEO Imani Kajula said it's not the right time to talk about player transfers or interest as they are concentrating on the league campaign.
"As of now he is our player. He still has a contract with us. We are still playing the league. As you are talking to me, I am watching a game and after that we will have one game remaining to close the season. They know how things in football work. They know the procedures of getting a player. We can only talk about transfers at the end of this month or next month. But as I have said, he still has a contract with us," Kajula concluded.
