SSU coach Gavin Hunt could be reunited with the shot-stopper, with whom he worked with at the nod-defunct Bidvest Wits.
Siya sources have revealed that the 33-year-old, who was a bit-part player for the Mother City-based side this season, could find himself making the move to Gauteng, with SuperSport uncertain about whether Ricardo Goss will be re-called to Mamelodi Sundowns.
"They are not sure whether they will keep Ricardo Goss from Sundowns after this season's loan which ends in June. So the coach wants the management to negotiate with Cape Town City for the services of Darren Keet," a source revealed to the Siya crew.
"Yes, it won't be easy because City also want to keep him. Gavin Hunt knows Keet very well and that's why he wants him if Goss goes back to Sundowns next season. So let's wait to see what happens," the source aded.
Efforts by the Siya crew for comment from SSU CEO Stan Matthews, proved futile at the time of publishing.
