Mamelodi Sundowns and Marumo Gallants will pocket at least R35.9 million between the two clubs for their efforts in CAF competitions this season, and it could get better for both the Brazilians and Bahlabane Ba Ntwa.

Masandawana progressed to the CAF Champions League semi-final with a 5-2 aggregate win over Algeria's CR Belouizdad, while Gallants progressed in dramatic circumstances thanks to a narrow 1-0 win over Egypt's Pyramids, which saw them claim a 2-1 aggregate victory in the tie.
Following the recent increase in prize money for Africa's two biggest inter-club competitions, there is some real cash at stake with the winner of the CAF Champions League pocketing a staggering $4m (±R73.5m).
The winners of the Confederations Cup meanwhile, walk away with $2m (±R36.7m).
Both clubs have managed to secure themselves some prize money by reaching the semi-finals of their respective competitions, with Sundowns guaranteed $1.2m (±R22m) purse for their efforts.
Gallants are guaranteed around $750,000 (±R13.7m) for reaching the semis, but will more than double that if they can manage to go on and win the competition.
