With under a year to the Africa Cup of Nations, a number of players will be looking to catch the eye of Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos, as many have a realistic chance of making the squad.
One of the in-form players in the Premiership this season has been Orlando Pirates midfielder Thabang Monare, who has improved immensely under the tutelage of head coach Jose Riveiro.

Monare has previously received a call-up from Broos for the friendly internationals against Guinea and France and would probably not completely rule out the possibility of being in the squad for AFCON in Ivory Coast, considering he has been consistent for the Soweto giants over the last few months.
While it appeared that Broos was in favour of including players under the age of 30 in his squads, recent selections have shown he is not closed to the idea, as Themba Zwane, Siyanda Xulu and Miguel Timm have been called up.
"Look, I have a plan of improving myself and everything that comes after that is something we can thank God. I just have plans of improving myself and becoming a better player for my team and anything else will be a bonus. If I get an opportunity, then I would grab it with both hands and give everything to the nation," the 32-year-old Monare said to the Siya crew.
Monare's contract with the Buccaneers is due to expire at the end of the season and while an agreement has not been reached, there is a good chance that he will be in the famous black and gold jersey.
