The 14-time European champions claimed a 2-0 victory over the Blues in the first leg of their quarter-final tie at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night.
As expected, Vinicius played an important role as Carlo Ancelotti's side controlled proceedings in Spain, playing a hand in both goals.
It was the 22-year-old's parried attempt in the first half that led to Karim Benzema opening the scoring, before the Brazilian assisted Marco Asensio's strike 16 minutes from time.
The former Flamengo winger is believed to be in talks with the Spanish giants over a long-term extension, with his current contract set to run out at the end of next season.
Speaking after the match on Wednesday, Vinicius declared that he hopes to spend his entire career at Los Blancos.
"I'd love to stay at Real Madrid forever," he told El Partidazo de COPE.
"This is the best club in the world. To play in the Champions League is something special."

In a separate interview, the Selecao international explained how he gets himself ready for the latter stages of Europe's biggest club competition.
"Every player who pulls on this jersey know that playing in the Champions League is special at this club, especially at the Bernabeu when the fans get right up for it," he added.
"At Madrid, you have to play with that desire in the Champions League.
"I train with [Real fitness coach Antonio] Pintus and then at home with my personal trainer so I'm in the best possible shape for these games.
"At this stage of the season, other players tend to dip a bit and I always try and increase my levels."
Vinicius has contributed to 37 goals in 45 matches across all platforms in this campaign so far.
