African Giants Sack Entire Coaching Staff & Fine Players After Loss

One of the biggest clubs in African football has sacked their entire coaching staff and fined players following another disappointing performance.

Egyptian giants Zamalek suffered a shock 3-2 defeat to Al Masry in the Egyptian Premier League on Tuesday, despite going 2-0 up in the first 20 minutes.

This means the team has picked up just two victories in their last 11 league matches, form that sees them sit fifth on the table.

Zamalek, who are already knocked out of the CAF Champions League and League Cup, are currently without a permanent manager following the recent sacking of Jesualdo Ferreira.

However, that has not stopped controversial president Mortada Mansour from showing any leniency to those he employs, with current board member Gamal Abdel-Hamid telling the club's TV channel that drastic action has been taken in the wake of the team's latest setback.

"We will suspend four players and deduct 30% of their total salaries and 25% of their current season salary," he said, according to KingFut.
