The German tactician, for the third successive Premier League matchweek, was unable to claim a victory as his side now languish in eighth position, seven points adrift of the UEFA Champions League qualification positions.
For the second time since Klopp took over, it seems as though the Reds will not be participating in Europe's premier club competition next season and the Stuttgart native has admitted he may not have been manager at the club had he experienced more seasons such as these.
When he was quizzed by the BBC to find out if he had ever endured a season this perplexing, the 55-year-old said: "No of course not, thank God. I wouldn't be manager of Liverpool if I'd had a couple of these seasons, it's clear.
"We have it now and we have to get through. I know that nobody wants to listen to that, nobody wants to hear that.
"But again, that's how life is and that's how football is if things don't go your way. You have to fight as long as you change the fortunes again."
