An insider at AmaZulu has revealed big plans for Romain Folz and the team as the KwaZulu-Natal giants are aiming for bigger and better things under ambitious club president Sandile Zungu.
As part of the Durban-based club's Vision 2032 to make Usuthu a force to be reckoned with in the local game and a recognised top four side, a decision has been reached for a technical team reshuffle with Ayanda Dlamini having taken over the coaching reins on a caretaker basis, while Romain Folz has moved into the position of technical director.

According to sources at Usuthu, all the parties agreed that changes had to be made for the progress of the club and everyone is happy in their new roles and expecting to see the team progress on the field in the remaining matches of the season.
Furthermore, it has been confirmed to the Siya crew that the three-year contract extension which was offered to Folz in February remains in place despite some reports earlier in local media suggesting that it may have been affected.

"Romain Folz has taken the job as the technical director and he will oversee all the technical aspects of the club to make sure that it fully develops properly. The tactician's contract of three years is still running," confirmed the source.
With the new position, Folz has become the youngest technical director in the history of the PSL, having previously been the youngest head coach in the league.
