New France captain Kylian Mbappe has reportedly told Real Madrid when he will leave Paris Saint-Germain to join them.
Check Out: The 'Reason' Why Real Madrid Won't Sign Mbappe
The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner was expected to pen a deal with Los Blancos as a free agent last year before he decided to agree to an extension in Paris.
Mbappe's renewal saw him become the highest-paid footballer in the world, with Cristiano Ronaldo having since overtaken him following his switch to Al Nassr in January.
While it was reported at the time that the Frenchman committed to a new three-year contract in 2022, rumours later suggested it was a two-year deal that PSG could have extended by a further 12 months had they won this season's UEFA Champions League.
Since that has not happened, AS believes Mbappe will part ways with the Ligue 1 champions in 2024, and that he has already communicated to Real that he will the join them then.
It is claimed the 24-year-old would ideally like to sign for the 14-time European winners at the end of this season, but knows PSG would not be open to letting him leave.
Many wondered if the Spanish giants would make a U-turn on their interest in Mbappe after he extended his contract in France, with it now being suggested that is not the case.
While Los Blancos have not been as bold in their pursuit of the player of late as they perhaps have been in the past, there is still a desire to land the superstar's signature to mark a new era for the club.
