The Siya crew has been led to believe that SuperSport United are prepared to discuss Zakhele Lepasa with Orlando Pirates. Matsatsantsa signed the 26-year-old striker, who was included in Hugo Broos' Bafana Bafana squad for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Liberia, on a deal until the end of the season.

Not long after signing the player, SuperSport CEO Stan Matthews confirmed to this publication that they would be interested in keeping Lepasa beyond the end of the campaign, even though there is no option to buy in the deal they agreed with the Buccaneers.
"I would not have brought him here if I did not feel that there was a capacity for us to keep him. If he does well and he enjoys it here, we would sit down with Pirates at the end of the season and see what we can work out to try to keep him here," Matthews said at the time.
It's understood that SuperSport have been impressed with the progress of the former TS Galaxy star and believe he is a player they can have in their squad longer than they currently do.
The club is prepared to open talks with the Soweto giants to keep Lepasa, though it's unclear at the moment if it would be on a season-long loan deal or a permanent move.

Since making a move to Matsatsantsa, the marksman has found the back of the net on two occasions, which is more than he scored for Bucs in the first half of the campaign.
The player recently told the media that he is happy to be at SuperSport and it's understood that he would be open to staying at the club if the opportunity presented itself.
