With just a little more than 10 matches in the league this campaign, Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah could be heading for his most disappointing season since arriving at the club.
The centre-back is in his second season with the Buccaneers, having joined from Nigerian club Akwa United in 2021 on a three-year deal.

Having played a key role in helping the Nigeria Professional Football League outfit to win the title for the first time in history in the 2020/21 season, Ndah arrived at Bucs to continue where he left off with his inspiring performances and high work-rate.
The dreadlocked player amassed 31 matches in all competitions in his first season with the Buccaneers and was crucial in helping the team to win the MTN8.
The player's contribution was also key in the Soweto giants reaching the CAF Confederation Cup final where they played against Moroccan side Renaissance de Berkane.
However, things haven't gone according to plan for the 25-year-old in the current campaign, though injury has played a part in delaying his progress.
Ndah has featured in 13 league matches so far this season and has played in 17 in all competitions. His last match was against Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto Derby last month where he was unfortunate to score an own goal in the 1-0 loss.
Nkosinathi Sibisi and Tapelo Xoki, who joined prior to the start of the season, have been playing more regularly as the two centre backs for Bucs, following the shock departures of veteran defenders Ntsikelelo Nyauza and Happy Jele at the end of last season.

Pirates also have Sandile Mthethwa competing for a position in coach Jose Riveiro's team, while captain Innocent Maela does sometimes get moved from left-back to the centre of defence.
Good news for Ndah though is that he has managed to shake off his latest injury after picking it up against Amakhosi and is available for selection for the team's next match on April 1 against Richards Bay FC.
