Agent Mike Makaab has provided an update on the situation of Andile Jali at Mamelodi Sundowns, with time running out before his contract expires.
Jali's deal with the DStv Premiership champions expires in June, but it appears talks have been put on hold recently with Sundowns doing a lot of travelling for their CAF Champions League matches.

The club is flying out to Egypt this week for Saturday's group stage clash against giants Al Ahly in Cairo, looking to extend their 100 percent record in the round robin phase.
Makaab is set to meet with Sundowns when they return from Egypt, as he looks to wrap up talks for the experienced midfielder. He is hoping they can have things concluded within a week or two, so that they know if the player will be staying or leaving Chloorkop.
"Obviously, this has been a crazy period for the team. As you know, they are on their way to Egypt. When they get back next week, I am hoping to sit down with them and bring finality one way or the other. All difficult deals take a long time. We are talking about a serious football club and a serious football player. We are talking about Andile's future, not just a contract. Definitely, within the next week or two. No longer (than that)," Makaab told the Siya crew.

Makaab, meanwhile, confirmed that there are no official offers on the table for Jali, despite talk of AmaZulu and Cape Town City being interested in his services.
Jali, the reigning DStv Premiership Midfielder of the Season, has made 15 appearances for the club in all competitions. He is highly valued by head coach Rulani Mokwena, who sees him as someone who can contributed positively on and off the field.
