With the spirits at an all-time high at Orlando Pirates for the team to continue with its resurgence following their impressive victory in the cup competition, the club's head coach Jose Riveiro could be tempted into making changes to his line-up for the next fixture.
In switching focus back into league action, the Buccaneers are preparing for a home match against Maritzburg United who have improved greatly under former Pirates coach, Fadlu Davids.

Pirates have also showed massive improvement in their play and results since the start of the new year and will want to continue doing well in Orlando, having been bolstered with the return of some of the stars who have been injured.
With the team set to welcome influential captain Innocent Maela back after he missed the previous match last weekend in the Nedbank Cup against All Stars due to suspension, Riveiro will be spoilt for choice to possibly tweak his starting line-up after some impressive performances from some of the returning stars.
After almost six months of no competitive football action due to injury, Thembinkosi Lorch returned in style in the cup match as he scored one of the goals in the 2-0 victory, while the 29-year-old attacker almost assisted for one other strike for winger Vincent Pule.

Following his five-star performance, indications are that Lorch could be set for his first start after a long time, while Cameroonian striker Souaibou Marou could make his debut after being an unused substitute against All Stars.
Meanwhile, experienced striker Kermit Erasmus could also return to the starting line-up on Friday after being an unused substitute last Saturday, presumably to rest him for the upcoming tough fixtures.
