Brazil legend Pele has passed away after battle with colon cancer.
The Brazilian icon spent the last few days in hospital with his family after learning the colon cancer had advanced last week, according to reports.
The news of the 82-year-old's passing was confirmed on Thursday evening with a lovely message on Twitter.

Pele was widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, having won a record three FIFA World Cup titles with brazil.
The Santos legend is also joint all-time leading scorer for the national side with current talisman Neymar on 77 goals.
