With reigning world champions France now set to take on Argentina in the 2022 FIFA World Cup final, one of Les Bleus' stars has made a big admission about going up against seven-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi.
Deschamps Refuses To Answer Benzema Question
Didier Deschamps' men have managed to make it to a second successive final after defeating Morocco 2-0 in their final four clash.
France are now a game away from being only the third side in the competition's history to retain their world championship crown.
Winning the World Cup again will not be an easy feat for the French as they will be going up against Paris Saint-Germain talisman and football icon Messi.
The 35-year-old is tied at the top of both the competition's goalscoring and assist charts.
Despite Messi's impressive performances in the Gulf, Theo Hernandez is confident France will be able to nullify the all-time great.
"Playing two World Cup finals in a row is an incredible moment," he said after Les Bleus' win over Morocco in their semi-final on Wednesday, as per RAI Sport.
"We will work hard to win this final. Now we have to think about the final.
"I'm tired, but it's nice to win a World Cup semi-final. Now let's recover for Sunday.
"Messi doesn't scare us, Argentina are an incredible team but we have a few days to work."

The left-back scored the opener during the French's 2-0 victory over the Atlas Lions, and the AC Milan star's sentiment was echoed by his international and club teammate Olivier Giroud.
The forward said, according to The Athletic: "Messi is an incredible player. But we're not going to let him enjoy the best night that he can have.
"We want to win this game and the World Cup and we will try everything to stop him.
"There is not only Messi in that team. They have great players who work for the team also.
"That's why they are so strong."
