There has been an update on in-form Golden Arrows and Bafana Bafana winger Pule Mmodi amid the latest talk of interest from Kaizer Chiefs.
Mmodi, 29, has made his intentions known about his wish to play for the Soweto giants and in recent months there has been interest from the Naturena outfit in the attacker.

However, talks for a potential move for the Theunissen-born player in the previous transfer window were unsuccessful after the two clubs reportedly failed to reach an agreement on the transfer fee.
Arrows co-coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi told the media at the start of the season that Mmodi had been affected by the failed move although the Bafana star managed to pick up form to continue from his progress of last season with his inspiring performances.
So far in the current campaign, Mmodi has scored four goals and made one assist for the Lamontville-based side from his 13 league appearances.
"There is still interest in the player from more than one club but there are no formal offers received by his club for his services and that's the latest," said the source.

"However, the player's contract is coming to an end at the end of the season and Arrows could lose him on a free as he might sign a pre-contract elsewhere in the coming weeks," the source added.
As reported by the Siya crew, Chiefs have been expected to revisit their interest in Mmodi, with the club likely to attempt to sign him on a pre-contract once he enters the last six months of his deal with Abafana Bes'thende, if head coach Arthur Zwane and his technical team still see a role for the player in next season's squad.
