As Orlando Pirates are expected to make further changes to the squad in the coming weeks, one of the players in the current squad could be affected.
The Buccaneers have further strengthened the team with the addition of veteran striker Ndumiso Mabena, as well as Craig Martin from Cape Town City, while the club is linked with Cameroonian striker Souaibou Marou, among other players.

Indications from sources close to the Orlando-based club are that the team is likely to release some players to open up space for new arrivals and one of the players linked with an exit is Sandile Mthethwa.
The 25-year-old defender has struggled for game time under coach Jose Riveiro, having not featured in any of the matches in the DStv Premiership so far this season.
According to sources, Richards Bay FC are monitoring the centre-back's situation closely and could be interested in signing him on loan in January.
Richards Bay currently have Bucs midfielder Nkanyiso Zungu spending the season with them on loan.

"Richards Bay are monitoring the situation with Sandile Mthethwa at Pirates. He previously played for them on loan from Pirates and he is familiar with the club," said the source.
As reported by the Siya crew, Chippa United have also showed interest in the player although Pirates will have the final say on the Richards Bay-born player's future as he is still contracted to the club.
