By his own admission, Maluleka has shown glimpses of the midfielder that wowed spectators whilst on the books of Ajax Cape Town, SuperSport United and Kaizer Chiefs.
The 33-year-old experienced a halt in his career in terms of game-time while at Sundowns, after making the switch to Chloorkop two seasons ago.
Now that he is back to playing regularly, Maluleka has revisited his stint with the Brazilians as he finally closes the chapter on his time with the club.
"I don't remember anymore, I've been with AmaZulu for six months now, so what happened at Sundowns, I don't remember," he told the media at the launch of the Philly's Games in Tembisa.
"I'm at AmaZulu, I'm enjoying my time. I had a good time at Downs. Not everything will go smoothly in your career. I don't think Sundowns was very bad as people make it out to be, but whenever I played I did well, I played well.
"I didn't play much, but it's okay. I'm very happy I went to Sundowns, I'm very happy I left. I'm glad I'm at AmaZulu, I'm happy I'm playing again. I'm looking good, I feel good. I'm happy," he concluded.
This season Maluleka has made 16 appearances in all competitions for AmaZulu. He had made 19 in total in two seasons with Sundowns.
