The Siya crew has been led to believe that Mamelodi Sundowns will make their interest known in a Cape Town City striker they have been monitoring.
It's understood that Sundowns have identified Khanyisa Mayo as a target, as they look to bolster their squad ahead of the CAF Champions League group stages and the second half of the DStv Premiership season.

The Siya crew has reported of Sundowns' interest in the son of former Kaizer Chiefs striker Patrick Mayo, with the Premiership champions looking at possibly engaging with the Citizens ahead of the January transfer window to open official talks.
Sundowns were recently hit with injuries to Peter Shalulile and Abbubeker Nasir and while they scored goals before the break, the club wants to ensure there is enough quality and depth in the striking department.
Clubs will be able to register players before the Champions League group stages and Sundowns are hoping that they can have the player on board before then, but it will also depend on how well talks with the Cape club go. The clubs have done business on quite a few occasions and the Siya crew understands that it has usually been smooth whenever deals are discussed for players.
