A former Orlando Pirates player is confident in the team's chances in the upcoming match against Kaizer Chiefs in the Carling Black Label Cup, despite having recently lost to their perennial rivals in the league.
Before going on to win the MTN8 after defeating AmaZulu at the weekend, Pirates suffered a 1-0 loss against Chiefs in this season's first Soweto Derby on October 29.

With the Buccaneers oozing with confidence after their MTN8 victory, former striker James Mothibi says Jose Riveiro's team will get the better of Amakhosi this time around.
"The Carling Black Label Cup will be our second trophy after the MTN8 that we have just won. There is no way that Pirates is going to lose to Chiefs again. If you checked in the league game that Chiefs won against Pirates, there was a foul there before that goal was scored but I don't want to dwell on that now," said Mothibi.

"I think a foul should have been given but that didn't happen and we moved on. I see Pirates winning this upcoming match 3-0. I like how the fans have selected the team and it is a balanced line-up," he said.
AmaZulu will play against Mamelodi Sundowns in the other semi-final and Mothibi is confident that Bucs will go all the way and win the trophy.
