Less than a month before the 2022 FIFA World Cup, it has been reported that the Brazilian FA is annoyed with Neymar's recent public actions.
Furious Neymar Carded For Defending Mbappe In PSG Win
According to French publication L'Equipe, the 30-year-old Paris Saint-Germain winger has left the Brazilian FA frustrated following his recent public approval of right-wing presidential candidate Jair Bolsonaro.
In a recent YouTube live stream with Bolsonaro, Neymar caused a massive stir as he seemed to back the controversial president, who is running for re-election against Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who served as the nation's leader between 2003 and 2010.
This is believed to be a highly divisive subject in the South American country at the moment, with Brazil's FA reportedly feeling that Neymar's support for Bolsonaro could impact the number of fans intending to back the national team at the upcoming World Cup.
The report suggests it was agreed in September that manager Tite and those in his squad would steer clear of political matters so as to avoid drama ahead of the global showpiece in Qatar.
