Stellenbosch head coach Steve Barker has questioned the application of the rules by match officials when it comes to Kaizer Chiefs, after his side conceded three penalties.
Chiefs thrashed Stellies 3-1 over the weekend, all from penalties scored by Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana.
Although Barker did not want to dispute the penalties, he questioned why the officials did not review some of the penalty incidents as they have already set a precedent.
In the sides' clash in the MTN8 quarterfinals, Stellies were initially awarded a penalty deep in stoppage time with the game tied at 1-1 after a ball hit Keagan Dolly in the box.

However, the penalty call was reversed after the referee consulted with his assistants and the fourth official.
Barker says he believes that the match officials in that incident used the monitor to review the incident, hence the decision was reversed and he doesn't understand why the same courtesy could not be given to his team, if there was an element of doubt in the three penalties given against them.
"Obviously we've been given a penalty in the 97th minute at the Danie Craven Stadium (in the MTN8 against Chiefs), which is good, looked at the monitor and reviewed," Barker told journalists in the press conference after the game.
"And told the linesman towards the ref that it's not a penalty, which was not a penalty but they looked at the monitor and informed (the ref) and I can't see why they can't do that again.
"Obviously there's no VAR (Video Assistant Referee) in the country but if it was possible... then it just flabbergasts me and for it to happen just before half-time, it gets disappointing," he said.
"It's an emotional game and you work hard you really want to do well and these decisions go against you and emotions do run high.
"Overall a bit disappointing, last two games against Chiefs in Cape Town it has just been a couple of big calls that have gone against us," he added.
