Sukazi Opens Up On Parker, Vila & Mlambo Investment
After making a big statement by signing Bernard Parker, Sibusiso Vilakazi and Xola Mlambo, TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi has given his assessment of the trio since the start of the season.
Parker joined Galaxy after leaving Kaizer Chiefs at the end of June and his start has not been the smoothest. The 36-year-old, who signed a contract until June 2024 with the Rockets, has made seven appearances for the club and has one goal, against his former side Chiefs.

Parker was denied from the penalty spot by Swallows goalkeeper Sanele Tshabalala in a goalless draw at Mbombela Stadium, so he could in fact have had more in terms of goals.
Sukazi, however, has explained that Parker, as well as Mlambo and Vilakazi, have a bigger role to play in the side. It's not just about what they do no the pitch.
"The signing of Parker, Vila and Xola... I said it before, the bigger purpose is more than playing football on the grass. They were brought in to help the club and, from that point of view, I am happy. The one who has created and scored is Bernard and Xola, of course. Xola is not known for goals, but I am sure we will see a lot more goals from him. He may break his own record by scoring more than he has ever scored for any other club," Sukazi told the Siya crew.

"Vila is coming along and he is putting in a great effort. We are very happy to this point with his contract and their contribution holistically."
