Sukazi Comments On Growing Ramovic Interest

TS Galaxy Chairman Tim Sukazi has commented on the possible exit of head coach Sead Ramovic to Raja Casablanca after he offered him to Kaizer Chiefs.

Sukazi has made no secret of the fact that he punted the German-born coach to Amakhosi. The Glamour Boys however chose their man in Nasreddine Nabi, a long-term target of the club.

But Ramovic has attracted a different kind of interest all together with Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca knocking on their door for the coach's services.

The TS Galaxy head honcho says he would not stand in the coach's way if he were to leave the club, though his exit would be a loss to South African football.

"It's a no brainer for a coach like that to attract international interest as Sead Ramovic has done. So, he's attracted Raja Casablanca, him and I have been on this subject probably five to six weeks we have been discussing. We talk about these things. We are very obviously very close and weighing and balancing a number of things and should the situation be such that he has to go and join Raja, then that should happen," he told journalists at the Augsburg media round table in Mpumalanga.

"I would want to believe that he will become an extension of our football into the Moroccan market, nevermind our club. I'll give it my blessing because I think he has walked the path from us. It would be a big loss for the South African game. I did obviously tender him to our one of our biggest clubs, Kaizer Chiefs when they were looking for a coach to say, he will make them the most formidable, but it never happened - it doesn't matter. I would have wished that he remained locally and more, especially in a club like Chiefs but it never happened.

"For Sead Ramovic, it has become inevitable for him to attract interest. From the top. clubs on the continent and in the world, I think one day he will be in the Bundesliga. I know it's gonna happen.

"As South African football, it would have been the best scenario, but if you can't, then the man takes greater heights for his career. Then you know, we'll give it our blessing when he'll be the extension of our project," he adds.
