TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic was not pleased with his side resorting the long ball against Orlando Pirates on Saturday.

The Rockets suffered a 1-0 defeat to the Buccaneers at Orlando Stadium, leaving the side in 12th position.

Ramovic says his side some big chances to score but more was concerned about they played in the first half after going behind.

"I think we started very well, we had two unbelievable opportunities to score and I think if we score a goal, the game would be totally different, especially when you have these kind of opportunities against a fantastic like Orlando (Pirates)," Ramovic told SuperSport after the game.

"You actually don't get a lot of opportunities against a great team like them, so you have to make the goals but we did not and then you get (concede) a goal, I have to see it, I was a bit far away but it's the way it is.

"But after the goal we started with long balls from the keeper, we actually did not want to play like this, we don't want to play with these kind of long balls. We had a talk in the second half that we want to keep the ball on the ground and play football and not like a super game of long balls and second balls," he said.

"I think we did a little bit better (in the second-half) but we didn't have these kind of opportunities like in the first-half. All in all I think an unlucky game for us but I have to give a lot of credit to the opponent for a very tough game.

"My team we played well, we have to be clinical upfront and hopefully we can learn about it, it's a process and hopefully (we go) the next game with a lot of self confidence with a lot of these kind of opportunities to score."
