Official: Galaxy Youngster Secures Move To Europe
A young TS Galaxy midfielder has secured a transfer to Europe ahead of the 2023/2024 season.
Young midfielder Aphelele Teto has completed a move to Scottish top-flight side Livingston FC.
The club revealed that the Scottish outfit made their interest known during the club's mid-season camp in Turkey in December last year.

"We are quite pleased by the interest shown in Aphelele Teto by Livingston FC. It is not so often that a South African youngster signs with a UK based Premier division club," Galaxy hairman Tim Sukazi said in a statement.
"Teto caught the eye of Livingston Head Coach, David Martindale, during our preseason training camp in Turkey, December last year when our Club played against Giresunspor. As the first South African club to hold a training camp in Europe the jury had been out as to what would be benefits of such an adventure. I am happy that our country now realizes that such an initiative could give lifetime opportunity to players amongst other things. I am quite happy now to see two of our sister clubs in Orlando Pirates and Sundowns following on our footstep by holding training camps in Europe as that will not only benefit their brands but their players as well.
"I would give credit to our Head Coach who was brave enough to give Aphelele his debut at the highest level two seasons ago. It is not every coach who would risk by playing a youngster while the Club is fighting relegation.
"Credit should also go to Aphelele who worked very hard upon being given the opportunity to play top level football. I have no doubt that if he could play as well as he did in Turkey he will take Europe by storm.
"Lastly, I would like to thank Livingston management for their tireless effort and level professionalism in working on Teto's transfer."
