As Bafana Bafana prepare for Namibia in their second Africa Cup of Nations match in the Ivory Coast, there's been an ongoing debate about Siyanda Xulu after his performance against Mali.
Xulu has been subject to criticism for his showing on Tuesday, with many questioning his selection as the experienced campaigner has only made five starts in SuperSport United's 16 league games.
Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana defender, Lovers Mohlala, is one of those questioning Xulu's selection, saying that picking Xulu is an insult to defenders who have played more regularly for their clubs.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Mohlala On Xulu's Bafana Selection: 'It's An Insult'" story:
Barker coached Mshishi while he was on loan at Mpumalanga Black Aces from Sundowns, who had signed him from Vardos FC.
Zwane endeared himself to the 1996 AFCON-winning coach, with Barker comparing him to Doctor Khumalo, referring to him as 'Doc,' which put pressure on him.
Zwane claimed that Barker told him if Sundowns didn't keep him after his loan at Aces, he should make a move to either one of the Soweto giants.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Mshishi: Barker Told Me To Go To Pirates Or Chiefs" story:
"But we know the real story. Sinki Mnisi said he offered Mshishi to Pirates but Sundowns came with a better offer (R1 million) Pirates tabled R500 000 or less..." says Yellow Dawana.
"He did not have a choice to make, he was there on loan. Only Downs had a choice, to recall him or not. They recalled him, case closed. He went on to do really well for himself. Salute Mshishi!!" says khothakhosi.
"Now Mshishi, you're hurting the Sowetans. Don't you know how they always wish for you not to renew your contract with Sundowns, so that they can get you for free," says Manephilly.
"Imagine Mshishi being coached by Middendorp, VV, and Baxter!!! Those coaches would have chased him away and called him lazy," says afl.
"Mshishi, what a player, what a skillful player. I have no words bra. You are a very talented person," says jimmyntjana20.
"Moral of the story is that: Zwane is not coward, he knew what he wanted in life. He would be a shameful, trophyless retiree by now. Where would he have gotten 16 medals!? Chiefs is just hype, smart players can't be fooled anymore. Danko Mshishi," says His Majesty Yellow PSL Pitbull.

"Broos said the PSL failed him and SAFA do not support him, so he would fail the whole nation. Just listen to his comments and look at his morale," says kinglovistochaka780.
"I don't know why Broos did not start with Kekana and Mvala at the back," says thegreatkidos007.
"He's just lucky, it's only Broos who likes him," says ghettovillage411.
"The coach left behind quality players and took bench warmers to the tournament. Lepasa lost form but he is there? I only agree with the non selection of Chiefs players but good players were left out. Good luck to our team as they face their greatest challenge," says mkhizesimphiwe6.
"Hayi, seriously. Xulu? There are a lot of Central Defenders in South Africa, yes he is a good player but there are players like Xoki, Msimango, Coetzee and Kekana right there at AFCON and so many others. I think Broos needs to justify his Xulu selection. Coetzee would be a perfect fit," says mthunzijack7.
"It's a big insult to the country and a shame to Broos," says thomaskandodo.
