Orlando Pirates returned to winning ways when they beat Maritzburg United 2-1 on Saturday. Thabiso Kutumela and Happy Jele's goals were good enough to send the visitors back to KwaZulu-Natal without the desired result.
The win saw the Buccaneers move to second spot in the standings, five points adrift of log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
