The Nedbank Cup has not yet commenced, and it appears some Kaizer Chiefs have already ruled out the possibility of reaching the final of this prestigious competition.
Coach Steve Komphela and his Glamour Boys will meet Golden Arrows in their round of 32 fixture on Sunday, 11 February.
The cup competition is a chance for most teams to add silverware to their trophy cabinets, especially those that have already missed out in the Telkom Knockout and MTN8.
Here is what some supporters are anticipating ahead of the upcoming Ke Yona competition:
"I so wish this coach (Komphela) can be eliminated early from this cup so that we will not have false hope, as he always gives us. In fact, I don't want to hear anything about his contract renewal. I'm sick and tired." – Zwelethu.Mtanjana
"Chiefs' jerseys are so scarce on the street these days. I only see them on creche kids. After Macufe toy victory last year, Mzansi was painted Gold and Black. Ja neh, go thata (it's tough)." – SL_hated_donkey
"Komphela must not start with Ntshangase and Castro, he will have to change the formation. Play with two center backs, give Mphahlele a chance on the right side, with Zulu on the left. Katsande and Maluleke, with Molangaone and Shabba. Moon is doing well at this moment but we don't have to put him under pressure. Komphela must not play mind games in this coming one." – tebogo gm mahlaba
