Steve Barker feels that Stellenbosch FC were the dominant team in their match against Kaizer Chiefs despite ending on the losing side.
Stellies were beaten 2-0 by Amakhosi in front of a capacity crowd at Athlone Stadium on Wednesday evening courtesy of goals from Pule Mmodi and Christian Saile.

Despite losing the all-important three points at home, Barker felt that the Winelands outfit had a great plan against the Soweto giants and were just unlucky.
"I thought in the first half I knew that with the big crowd and Chiefs in Cape Town, the first 10 to 15 minutes would be a bit chaotic. I told the players to see how after that first 10 to 15 minutes the game would settle and that we would start getting more control of the game and the ball," said Barker, speaking to the media.

"After the first 10 minutes, there was only one team on the pitch and we created all the chances. I felt they (Chiefs) didn't really know what they wanted to do in their build-up," the coach said.
Stellenbosch players have been given a day off today to recuperate and are scheduled to return to training on Friday to finalise preparations for the MTN8 first leg semi-final clash against Orlando Pirates at Athlone on Sunday afternoon.
