Jali, who is the reigning Premiership midfielder of the season, has been struggling to break into the starting line-up at Sundowns and, as reported by the Siya crew, there could be a big twist in his future following an incident which has landed him in trouble with management and the technical team.
Chiefs are believed to be in the market for a defensive midfielder following the departure of Njabulo Blom a little over two months ago and Jali is one of the players they are considering.
Jali was left out of the matchday squad for the Nedbank Cup last 16 clash against Marumo Gallants on Thursday night and indications are that he is not going to feature much before the end of the season.
He has made 15 appearances in all competitions this season. He is yet to make an appearance for the side in the CAF Champions League this season.
