Here Are Tips For Selected Soccer 6 Matches

The first-leg of the CAF Champions League final takes place at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday as Mamelodi Sundowns seek to secure a win at home against Egyptian side Zamalek. Downs come into the game off of disappointment in the MTN8 final, where they lost to Bidvest Wits. However, Masandawana have already beaten Zamalek in the earlier stages of the competition and will be confident that they can bounce back.

Mamelodi Sundowns v Zamalek (CAF Champions League)

League rankings: Sundowns 15th (Absa Premiership) Zamalek 10th (Egyptian Premier League)

Useful facts: One of the biggest games in South African football so far this decade sees Sundowns come into the game as favourites after winning both their previous ties against the Egyptian giants earlier in the group stages, scoring three and conceding once. However, Sundowns' recent form is not too great, having won only twice in their last five games, including the shattering 3-0 defeat at the hands of Bidvest Wits in the MTN8 final. Zamalek, who have won four of their last five, will be hoping to take advantage of that.

Nathan Paulse: Draw. It'll be very tight.

Kaizer Chiefs v Ajax Cape Town (Absa Premiership)

League Rankings: Chiefs 1st Ajax 13th

Useful facts: The outcome of this game looks bleak for the Urban Warriors, who have failed to score in six of their last eight away games and come up against a Chiefs team that has kept three consecutive clean sheets. To add to that, Ajax have failed to win any of their last six games at the FNB stadium, losing five of them and winning only one of their last six games against Chiefs overall. On current form, Chiefs have won three consecutive games, whereas Ajax have failed to register any wins so far this season.

Nathan Paulse: Ajax will sneak it.

Man City v Everton (Premier League)

League Rankings: Man City 1st Everton 5th

Useful facts: The dominant force this season, Manchester City, come up against one of the less-talked about in-form teams, Everton. While City had registered six consecutive wins prior to their loss at the hands of Tottenham before the international break, Everton were on a four-match winning streak before losing to Bournemouth at the end of September. More importantly, Everton boast a better defensive record and have conceded only five goals compared to City's seven. With that said, Pep Guardiola's team boast the better head-to-head record, as they have won three of their last six against the Toffees and lost only one.

Nathan Paulse: Tough one... I'll say Man City will sneak it.

Chelsea vs Leicester (Premier League)

League Rankings: Chelsea 7th Leicester 12th

Useful facts: Premier League action resumes when the Blues take on the champions in an encounter that promises goals. In the last six meetings between these teams, a total of 24 goals have been scored, with Chelsea winning four and the foxes emerging victorious only once. Form-wise, Chelsea are also in better condition, having won three of their last six, in comparison to Leicester's two wins in the same time frame.

Nathan Paulse: Chelsea win.
