Less than a month remains before the end of the season and football supporters are in for one of the tightest races for survival in PSL history.
As things stand, any of the club from number seven to 16 can get automatically relegated, which gives a clear idea of how clubs in the bottom half of the table have no room for error in the final few weeks of the campaign.

Swallows FC and Maritzburg United face off on Thursday, April 27, in one of the most intriguing survival matches left in the season.
Currently in 14th place on the standings, Swallows have a great opportunity to easy some of the pressure on their shoulders right now by beating Maritzburg. A victory for the Dube Birds would put them six points ahead of bottom of the table Maritzburg, with three rounds of matches still to play. While that would not guarantee safety, it would certainly give Swallows reason to believe that they can avoid relegated or going into the play-offs, which was the case last season.
What should give Swallows some hope is that five of their seven victories this season have come at home and they face a Maritzburg side that has only three wins on the road this season.
After the clash against Maritzburg, Swallows will face Kaizer Chiefs, Royal AM and Marumo Gallants, who have been in good form lately. Maritzburg, meanwhile, will come up against Gallants, Stellenbosch and champions Mamelodi Sundowns, on the final day of the season.

Chippa United, who are second from bottom, meet Chiefs on Thursday, desperately needing a victory to turn what has been a topsy-turvy campaign around. The Chilli Boys have gone on a run of seven matches without a victory, losing five and drawing two. Just a point above Maritzburg, Chippa know that they need to get points against Amakhosi to enhance their chances of surviving.
After facing Chiefs, the Chilli Boys will meet Richards Bay, TS Galaxy and Golden Arrows.
