News reaching the Siya crew is that Mamelodi Sundowns are interested in Keegan Allan from Swallows FC.
The defender is a youth product of the Tshwane giants, who went on to make a name for himself with University of Pretoria in the second tier before being signed by Swallows last year on a two-year deal with an option to extend.
Towards the end of the most recent match for the Birds against Kaizer Chiefs, the centre-back suffered an injury in a moment that caused panic amongst players and officials at the Peter Mokaba Stadium as he appeared to have lost consciousness.
It was later confirmed by the Dobsonville-based outfit that the 22-year-old had recovered and was fine. However, he did not make the matchday squad for the 1-0 win over Royal AM last Saturday.
So far this season, Allan has featured in 19 matches, with 18 starts, and has been one of the side's top performers. Indications from sources are that the Brazilians are keen to have the player back as part of their planning for the future.
"Sundowns is keen on Keegan Allan. The club feels that they made a mistake by letting go of such talent and are considering bringing him back. He is still young and Sundowns is trying to reduce the average age of their squad and Allan is one of the players in their plans," said a source.
