Kaizer Chiefs are believed to have held an important meeting regarding the future of Cavin Johnson, and the Siya crew has been informed of the outcome.
As the hunt for a new permanent head coach continues at Chiefs, questions have been asked whether Johnson could be that man after all.

Since taking over from former coach, Molefi Ntseki, Johnson has brought stability into the team, and Siya sources have indicated that management is happy with his work. Though, is that good enough to choose him for the long term?
Sources have added that the club doesn't want to disturb Johnson until the end of the season.
"Yes there was a meeting which was held. They wanted to assure the coach that he is not going anywhere because of the many reports about different coaches being link to Chiefs (and how that) would disturb not only the coach but the whole team," said the Siya source.
"So, for now after the meeting, the coach was informed that he will be in charge until the end of the season. This is as good as done. The management is happy with his work and the players are enjoying his presence and work ethic and the results are starting to show and hence the decision to keep him as the head coach," the source told Soccer Laduma.
A second Siya source added that the club has agreed that they will only do a SWOT, which is strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats analysis at the end of the season. From there, they will determine if there will be changes in the coaching department.
"It's almost done. I can say it's about 90% done that Cavin (Johnson) will stay on as a head coach for now. There are two main reasons for this. One is not to disturb the team twice in one season, and secondly, management believes the team's results and performances have changed for the better under Johnson," said the second Siya source.
"Therefore they will only do the SWOT analysis at the end of the season and that's when the final decision will be made. But now they agreed in that meeting that he stays on until the end of the season.
"The decision will be made after looking at the performance and results from when he took over to the end of the season," the source informed Soccer Laduma.
The Siya crew contacted Chiefs for comment but no response was received while this story was prepared.
