A player who looks set to return in the new year for Kaizer Chiefs is expected to play an important role in the side for head coach Nasreddine Nabi.
The Siya crew has been informed that Nabi is looking forward to having Mozambican defender Edmilson Dove available for selection, as he is currently back in training after recovering from injury.

Dove picked up an injury while Amakhosi were in Turkey for pre-season and had to come back to South Africa while the rest of his teammates continued preparing for the new campaign in Europe.
That is now all behind him and the 30-year-old is expected to play a key role in defence to help improve the Soweto giants at the back.
Despite going into the market to buy defenders, Amakhosi have not been able to keep clean sheets this season, which has been a major concern for Nabi and his technical team. Dove gives Nabi the option of playing him either at left back or as a left sided centre back.

With his contract set to expire in June 2025, Dove will be hoping to make an impression in the team. Indications are that management are not closed to the idea of keeping him beyond the end of this season, but a final decision will only be made towards the end of the campaign.
