News reaching the Siya crew indicates that Wydad Casablanca, under former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena, are showing keen interest in a Masandawana defender.
Siya sources close to the situation have indicated that the player in question is left back Divine Lunga. However, a potential move for the Zimbabwean defender may be complicated by a looming FIFA ban that threatens to impact the Moroccan club's ability to register new players.

The sources added that Mokwena is eager to bring his former player, Lunga to the North African giants before the registration window closes. The Siya crew understands Wydad Athletic are confident of resolving this problem with FIFA.
"There are about three players that the coach Rulani (Mokwena) has apparently indicated that he wants at Wydad Casablanca. One of them is Divine (Lunga). But even if Sundowns would want to let him go it will depend on whether Wydad will be able to sign and register players as they are facing a possible ban by FIFA," said the Siya source.
"They can also sign him and just wait to register him. But, yes, Rulani has made it clear that he would like to have Divine playing for him again in Morocco," the source added.
Further insights suggest that Lunga's potential departure from Sundowns might not face significant internal resistance, given the team's depth, according to a second insider.
"He is like a third choice left back after Aubrey Modiba and Terrence Mashego and last season he was on the verge of joining Golden Arrows because he was deemed surplus to requirements and that would give him an upper hand to leave for Wydad this time around. So, let's wait and see what will happen to Wydad and their issues with FIFA, then Divine's future could be decided," the second source stated.

Last season, Lunga showcased his capabilities for the Brazilians despite not being their first-choice left-back. His potential move to Wydad Casablanca would not only reunite him with Mokwena but also offer him a fresh start and possibly more regular playing time.
As the situation develops, both Wydad and Sundowns are closely monitoring the resolution of the FIFA issue, which will significantly influence the feasibility and timing of such a transfer.
Soccer Laduma contacted Sundowns but the club did not comment on the situation by the time this report was published.
