Former Manchester United forward's coach Benni McCarthy landed in South Africa this week, to raucous celebrations at the O.R Tambo International Airport, with much speculation about his presence in the country.
However, the Siya crew has obtained clarity over the coach's presence in his motherland.

The excitement around McCarthy's arrival on Monday could be down to the fact that earlier this month, the Siya crew broke the news that the 46-year-old was in talks with Mamelodi Sundowns and met with the Brazilians' hierarchy in Europe.
In addition, the crew also reported that McCarthy was in advanced talks with an MLS side, as confirmed by his long-term agent.
However, McCarthy's presence in South Africa has nothing to do with either Sundowns or the MLS.
Rather, he has been roped in by SuperSport where he will deliver world-class punditry on the UEFA Champions League.
It is not the first time McCarthy has represented the TV station, having shared his expert analysis with the masses in years gone by.
With regards to his future, it remains to be seen where Bafana Bafana's leading goalscorer will end up next, as he looks to take another step in his glittering coaching career.
