Insiders close to the club and the coaches have indicated that management wants at least a top-eight finish this season.
"Management understands that the team didn't start very well but it's only three games played and a lot can still be done. That's is why they have given the coaches the mandate to finish in the top eight. You remember last season the team didn't qualify for top eight and now it's time for new things with the new technical team. Management has trust and belief in the coaches and that's why they believe that a top eight finish is possible. So, now, the mandate for the coaches is a top eight finish," the Siya source stated.

A second insider close to the club stated that both coaches share the same responsibility.
"As for responsibilities, they are the same. They are co-coaches, meaning they have the same powers. It won't matter who attends press conferences or post match interviews. They are the same and they do the same duties. That's how the structure at the club will work as it's now the first time to have co-coaches," the second source stated.
Soccer Laduma contacted AmaZulu FC for comment, but there was no response at the time of publishing this report.
