Orlando Pirates are believed to be planning to loan out a midfielder, the Siya crew has been informed.
Former SuperSport United player, Selaelo Rasebotja, has struggled for game time at the Buccaneers. Insiders close to Pirates have indicated that a loan move could help the player gain valuable experience next season.

The Siya sources added that Bucs are evaluating several players, not just Rasebotja, for potential loan or permanent moves to streamline the squad for the upcoming campaign.
"The competition in his position is tough and tight and he is not getting game time at the club right now and that's why both management and the technical team have agreed that they should at least loan him out for next season. That's the decision they believe could work our for him as a player," the source told the Siya crew.
A second insider mentioned that while no club has formally shown interest in signing Rasebotja on loan yet, Pirates will wait until the season ends and assess the situation once a new coach is confirmed. Current mentor Jose Riveiro has already announced he will leave Bucs at the end of the campaign.

"They were waiting for the season to finish first and also wait for the new coach to then see which teams would be interested in him. But it's true that the club is believed to want to loan him out so that he can get game time. But everything will be solved at the start of next season," the second insider revealed.
The 23-year-old midfielder reportedly has a contract with Pirates until June 2027 but has only made a few appearances in the Betway Premiership this season. A loan move could provide Rasebotja with more opportunities to develop and showcase his talent at another club.
Soccer Laduma will continue to follow developments as the team reshuffles their squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.
