Orlando Pirates could revisit their pursuit of Stellenbosch FC defender Ismael Toure as they look to strengthen their defence ahead of the next transfer window.
The Ivorian centre-back has been a standout performer in the Betway Premiership since joining Stellies from Marumo Gallants in 2023.

Toure played a crucial role in Stellenbosch's success last season, helping the team secure the Carling Knockout Cup and maintain an impressive league run.
His consistent displays have not gone unnoticed, attracting interest from several top clubs in Mzansi and abroad.
Among them, Pirates and their Soweto rivals, Kaizer Chiefs, have been monitoring his progress, while Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club, under Rulani Mokwena, are also reportedly keen.
Pirates' defensive struggles this season have been compounded by Thabiso Sesane's injury, exposing the need for reinforcements at the back. The Buccaneers opted against making signings in January, but sources indicate that Toure remains on their radar for a potential move at the end of the season.
"He (Toure) is still on the club's (Pirates') radar, and it's just a matter of when the club will be taking the interest forward by making a formal offer. If you look around the league, you will notice that he is one of the reliable and consistent defenders, and his performances haven't gone unnoticed as interest in his services is growing," said the source.

With his imposing presence, aerial dominance, and defensive solidity, Toure could be a valuable addition to Pirates as they aim to bolster their squad for the upcoming campaign.
As reported by the Siya crew, Toure's central defence partner at the Winelands outfit Thabo Moloisane has also emerged as a target for Bucs.
