Orlando Pirates are expected to welcome Thembinkosi Lorch back into the squad to prepare for the upcoming matches following his suspension.
Lorch was suspended by the Buccaneers three weeks ago after he was handed a suspended three-year prison sentence, having earlier been found guilty in the Randburg Magistrate Court of assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

In his absence, the star missed three matches against Richards Bay FC, Moroka Swallows and TS Galaxy respectively.
With Bucs preparing for the clash against Golden Arrows in Hammarsdale, Lorch could be back in the travelling team depending on his fitness levels.
"He (Lorch) remains a Pirates player and like anyone of his teammates he is available to play whenever the coach decides that he wants him," said the source.

In 2020, Lorch had been in a similar situation after he was suspended by the club but was later cleared to return to the squad following the finalisation of the disciplinary proceedings against him, and after he pleaded guilty to charges that were brought against him by the club.
Meanwhile, Pirates are also expected to welcome Thabang Monare for the Abafana Bes'thende clash after he served his two-match ban for the red card he got against the Natal Rich Boyz.
