Since his return from a long layoff due to injury, Lorch has been producing some top performances and has been one of the key players in the team's chase for a second place finish on the log to qualify for the CAF Champions League.
Speaking via Pirates' media department, the 29-year-old revealed the reasons for producing top performances.
"First of all, I would like to thank the man above for the opportunity and the talent that he gave me. Coming to the game, I think we started very well. We knew that they were going to play with three at the back and the coach said we must keep the width and I think it worked for us," said Lorch.

"It wasn't easy. Playing against Richards Bay, it's a good team. But I think the attitude, I think we needed it more than them and that's why we got the results. I needed to push the guys and by doing that I have to play very well so that they can join me also," he said.
