Orlando Pirates appear to have provided an update on Thembinkosi Lorch as the eagerly-awaited Soweto Derby looms.
Pirates are set to play against perennial rivals Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday in the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup.

Lorch picked up an injury prior to the team's DStv Premiership match against Cape Town City and has been out of the matchday squads since.
When he spoke about the star's injury last time, Pirates coach Jose Riveiro described it as minor.
The 29-year-old has since missed matches against the Citizens, TS Galaxy and Royal AM.
In their latest update, the Buccaneers have said that Lorch has been recovering without confirming whether or not he will be available for the Chiefs clash.
"Both sides could be missing key players on Saturday, with each camp having had to do without a couple of its stars over the past few weeks. Bucs captain Innocent Maela, sat out his side's last two games, while midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch has been recovering from a knock picked up in the lead up to the home victory against Cape Town City two weeks ago," stated Pirates.

"The visitors will however be boosted by the return of midfield pair Miguel Timm and Kabelo Dlamini, who have each served a brief suspension and will be available for selection," the club said.
