The Premier Soccer League has confirmed that there will be no seeding in the draw for Nedbank Cup.

The draw for the round of 16 of the prestigious competition is set to take place today at 12h30 in Johannesburg.
Defending champions, Mmaelodi Sundowns, as well as Orlando Pirates are some of the teams that have qualified for the next round of the competition, following their wins against Highlands Park and Kaizer Chiefs respectively.
12 PSL teams, three from the National First Division and one from the lower leagues have qualified for the last 16 stage of the competition.
The teams are Sundowns, Pirates, SuperSport United, Jomo Cosmos, Polokwane City, Mpumalanga Black Aces, University of Pretoria, Free State Stars, Golden Arrows, Bidvest Wits, Platinum Stars, Maritzburg United, Baroka FC, Mbombela United, Santos and Magesi FC.

The Nedbank Cup Draw Procedure As Confirmed By The PSL
Details: Draw Master (Derek Blanckensee). Draw Assistants: Prof Ronnie Schloss and Vanessa Singh (Nedbank Representative).
- All 16 clubs will be placed in one pot
- There will be no seeding
- Prof Ronnie Schloss will be responsible for drawing Home Clubs
- Vanessa Singh will draw the Away Clubs
- In each sequence, the first ball to be drawn will be the home club and the second ball will be their opponent, the away club
- This process will be repeated until all fixtures are finalized
