Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns have been drawn to host National First Division side, Mbombela United, in this year's round of 16 in the Nedbank Cup.

The Brazilians beat NFD side Highlands Park in the last 32 stage of the competition. In what is expected to be one of the interesting fixtures, Orlando Pirates will travel to Jomo Cosmos.
The draw was conducted at the Carlton Centre in Johannesburg today.
The 16 teams that qualified for this round of the competition are Sundowns, Pirates, SuperSport United, Jomo Cosmos, Polokwane City, Mpumalanga Black Aces, University of Pretoria, Free State Stars, Golden Arrows, Bidvest Wits, Platinum Stars, Maritzburg United, Baroka FC, Mbombela United, Santos and Magesi FC.
