Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, Senzo Meyiwa, believes that SuperSport United will still be a tough test for the Buccaneers, despite the absence of lanky striker, Mame Niang.
Niang left Matsatsantsa a Pitori to join Tshwane rivals Mamelodi Sundowns, but Meyiwa believes SuperSport still pose a threat to Bucs' chances of progressing to the next round of the MTN8.
"SuperSport is an organised team and even though they do not have Niang anymore, it should not be a reason for us to let our guards down," Meyiwa told the official Pirates website.
"In the previous seasons they pushed forward really nicely and made sure they had someone to finish up front. We have to forget about that and understand that they are not a one man team – they are much organised so, we have to play our normal game and try to score first.
"When we score first in Orlando we feel great – we want to score more; but I also think we will have to defend better," added Meyiwa.
Pirates will host SuperSport in the MTN8 at Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
The match will commence at 20h15.
