As reported by the Siya crew earlier this week, Kingston Nkhatha will be fit for this weekend's MTN8 clash, though Kaizer Chiefs will have players missing.
Nkhatha had to be substituted during the recent Carling Black Label Cup and it was feared that he may face a lengthy spell on the sidelines, though it has now been confirmed that that will not be case.
A statement on the club's official website said, "Kingston got a knock to the side of his leg. It was nothing much, but a 'dead' leg. He should recover fairly quickly. He should be available for the Sunday encounter against MP Black Aces in the MTN8 quarterfinal."
Meanwhile, regarding Siphiwe Tshabalala, they added, "Shabba is improving nicely after he injured his knee in a friendly game against Chippa United in the previous week."
Finally, the Amakhosi's medical team commented on the status of Matthew Rusike and Bernard Parker, saying, "Rusike is undergoing the final rehabilitation phase after suffering a knock to his knee during the pre-season. Parker has resumed his rehab following his ankle injury."
