Orlando Pirates' talisman, Oupa Manyisa, has pointed out that the MTN8 is one of the team's aspirations this season.
Speaking to the Pirates official website, 'Ace' insisted that along with his teammates, though they are highly motivated ahead of their MTN 8 quarter final clash with SuperSport United this coming Saturday, August 2, they will have to remain realistic when they face the Tshwane-based club, and take each game as it comes.
"Last season we fought hard to end our season on high note. We won the Nedbank Cup and that gave us a lot of confidence coming to this new season," stated Ace.
"We had a great pre-season; we won the Carling Cup and that added on our motivation and desire to win every match in the new season, but we also have to be realistic and take one game at a time.
"The success of last season was for last season; now we have to fight again and try to win the next match. We cannot think of the final (of the MTN8) now because we have a lot of matches to play before we get there.
"The important thing now is to avoid defeat on Saturday and wait for the next challenge," he said.
